Safe Driving
Safe Driving is an educational program designed to teach participants about the long term consequences and impact that distracted and/or impaired driving has on victims, the community, and drivers. This class requires attendees to participate in activities and discussions designed to evoke emotional engagement centered on the outcomes of decisions made while driving, on a daily basis. The course exercises illustrate the multiple aspects of financial, personal and emotional impacts endured when people are affected by unsafe driving. Participants will have the opportunity to meet survivors from the Victim Impact Panel, hear their story and ask questions. It is described as a pivotal moment of awareness by past participants and advocates. It encourages safe driving to be a community responsibility that we as drivers are all responsible for in every driving decision we make, daily. Currently this program is hosted virtually throughout the state of Vermont and the cost is $50.00 to participate.
We do not currently offer Safe Driving here at our agency. Please click on the Google link to see the upcoming schedule which shows upcoming classes and how to contact those sites to register.
